Aloha and welcome to my gallery. I was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, but I knew early in life I preferred a much warmer climate, so I moved to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1971. I was very happy to call the windward side of Oahu my home for many years - it is extraordinarily beautiful. The Ko'olau mountain range with the "birth" of a waterfall after a good rainstorm, is simply incredible. However, I relocated to the "Big Island" of Hawaii in 1999.

Until 2008 my main focus was nature photos. I was honored to win a First Place Color Print Award from the Camera Club Council of Hawaii in 2002, as well as several first place awards in local contests. I have had numerous "Photos of the Day" wins in the "Appetizer Section" at Digital Image Cafe and a some POTD's at Steve's Digicams website. I have also had my photos featured on megapixel.net.

I hope to open a small home style studio for people and pet portraits, mostly for rainy days. I still prefer shooting in natural light. I will be adding new wedding and portrait galleries here soon as well as a retail gallery.
